Our CARE Statements
CONSIDERATION: Care about the effects of my actions on other road users,
recognising that safe driving is a team effort. I forgive mistakes made by others, will help where I can,
and offer courtesy where it is safe and practical.*
AWARENESS: Care about maintaining concentration, being aware of potential hazards around me and planning my actions early based on these observations.
RESPONSIBILITY: Care about taking responsibility for all of my actions on the road, endeavouring never to endanger others. Maintaining a road-worthy vehicle and ensuring I never drive when impaired through drink, drugs, illness or fatigue.
ECO-SAFE: Care about the effects of my driving on the environment and taking positive steps to reduce my carbon emissions and in turn my personal fuel bill.
