Driving Lessons in Norfolk
with Care Motoring
So, how can I help you learn to drive, to the highest standard but for the least amount of money?
Private Practice:
Well first of all, the very best thing you can do is to combine your driving lessons with private
practice
and to help you to do this I have created a
series of audio driving lessons
which you can use in the car
with your supervising driver (most often that will be your mum or dad, but it may well be someone else,
so we'll just refer to them as your supervising, or accompanying, driver). Click here to download the Virtual Driving Instructor
course.
At the start of your driving test you will be asked 2 vehicle safety check questions; when you book your lessons with me you will be given a print-out of all the questions with the answers you need to give. I have also found this excellent website from an instructor in Kent, CBs Driving School, who has put together an advice page to help you learn and understand these questions. Click on the link and take a look.
I search the web to find useful links like this for you. If you'd like to get more of these links straight to your inbox, then email me and I will add you to my list (you can unsubscribe at any time).
Monitor your progress online!
I am delighted to have found this excellent software from 'Jbadisoftware' which allows me to help you to keep better track of your progress, and for you to show your parents and friends exactly what you are achieving in your lessons. Click on the banner to visit their site to find out more. This will not cost you any more money - I have paid to use this software so you simply sign in as my pupil, which allows me to upload your progress to your page.
Eliminate those nerves and negative
emotions:
At some stage during the learning process, most people experience either nerves or some form of negative
emotions.
I can
help you overcome these. By using an amazing 'tapping' therapy called EFT
(Emotional Freedom Techniques - click here to find
out more), I can eliminate those fears, nerves, anger in minutes, leaving you mentally free to continue
your learning. And before your test we can ensure those 'exam nerves' are eliminated so you
will not find yourself failing your test purely through nerves!
I give ownership of the lessons to YOU:
This might sound very strange, but what it actually means is that, instead of me telling you everything you have to do, I encourage you to make your own decisions and monitor your own progress by assessing how well you think you've performed a particular task and what you think you need to do to improve your performance. (See Jess's testimonial here). This is the basics of coaching, as opposed to instruction, and has been shown to produce the best results.
You will also benefit from FREE membership of this e-learning website, designed to enhance all of your learning to make your learning fun and, most importantly, help you to be a much safer driver post-test. Click the logo to visit the website.
Help with your theory test:
I will help you as much as you need with your theory test, and will give you some mock tests for the multiple-choice questions section. The theory test was updated on the 28th September this year (2009) to include 'case studies', questions which put learning into context and test your understanding as well as your knowledge. Don't worry, this method is used a lot in education, so you will have come across it in school, but I will ensure you fully understand it before you take your test. BTEC level 2 award in Driving Science:
This is something currently offered by a small number of driving schools and independent instructors, and which I have been accredited to deliver by a2om, the company which developed this course. It is ideal for anyone who might consider a job which requires them to drive as part of their work, so not just the obvious 'driving' jobs, but also people such as salesmen. Having this award helps a prospective employer tick the 'Health & Safety' box for you as a young driver, which may just give you the edge over other candidates. It would also be useful if you need to add more recognised qualifications to your CV, the BTEC award is administered by the Edexcel exam board. And, most importantly, anyone who wants to be a safer novice driver, and who wants a course that includes post-test training in the package, then this is the course to choose.
