Virtual Driving Instructor audio driving lessons have been developed by me to help those who wish to have private practice between driving lessons, or want to learn to drive but can't afford as many lessons as they would really like to have.  The aim is to help learner drivers develop the skills they need to pass the driving test and to remain safe when driving alone post-test.

Each audio lesson covers a specific learning point in the DSA syllabus and is designed to support a driving lesson lasting about one hour.  The full Virtual Driving Instructor course consists of 5 modules each containing 5 lessons, each one equivalent to a one hour driving lesson.  You may choose to buy each module separately or purchase the full course for a reduced fee.

It is not intended that the audio be played whilst driving - it should be played whilst stationary, pausing as necessary to discuss with your accompanying supervising driver, or when told to do so by the Virtual Driving Instructor.  Some of the audio content is quite long, so I encourage you to remember you have a 'pause' button, which will allow you to digest what has just been said, or rewind to listen to a particular section again.  You may prefer to start the practical practice sooner, then listen again, it really is up to you how you use this.  In fact, I have found that the most effective way to use this is to listen to a particular lesson after you've covered the topic with your driving instructor; this is expecially helpful if you can't actually do any private practice as it will help you to remember the things you learned in your lesson, which will definitely reduce the cost of learning to drive for you.

The full course is now available on the download page, and you can view the list of the course contents here.

If you prefer not to download, or you do not have a broadband connection, then you can now buy the full course on a 2GB memory stick here.
